SUMMARY:
Luisa Menano is a Portuguese-British artist, lecturer, and researcher. She accomplished her Ph.D. at Winchester School of Art, University of Southampton, UK.
Menano has supervised and participated as a jury for the Master degrees’ candidates at Fine Art Faculty, Porto University, Portugal.

Menano has supervised and participated as a jury for Masters’ degree candidate at Fine Art Faculty, Porto University, Portugal.
Her creative practice is interdisciplinary and embodies a wide range of artwork and production such as photography, 3D sculpture, drawings, video, sound, and installations. Menano has lectured in Fine Art, Fine Art Video, Design and Contextual Studies, in UK.  She was awarded a grant for her Master and Ph.D. by FCT Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia – Ministry of Science, Technology and Higher Education, Portugal.
She has exhibited internationally and has some of her work in private collections such as Fine Arts Mahatma Gandhi Institute. Mauritius.; Biennale Vila Nova de Cerveira. Portugal, Fundação PLMJ. Portugal.
Menano has published in journals and recently edited a book: Art and Technology – The Practice and Influence of Art and Technology in Educationby Sense Publishers.
Presently, Menano is finishing to write a chapter: Integration of Art and STEM in a Tangible Reality with 3D Printing in Education, for book Interdisciplinary and International Perspectives on 3D Printing in Education.
